Why do aftermarket radiators.....

Why do aftermarket radiator (like Koyo.) stand straight up, instead of the stock layed over position.....

Is there an advantage to this?

They all lay in the stock position.

You see them upright when someone has an FMIC.

That's correct but the fmic come with bracket to make it stand up straight.

Wrong:

NOTHING will fit properly if you go FMIC without serious effort on your part.

What you could have said and be right:

If you stand the radiator up on it's end the FMIC will fit and so will everything else, sorta.
