Thumbs down Oops...OMP drive gear/shaft question

I've been busy lately disassembling and cleaning all of the parts of my 93fd for a rebuild that I'm working on. Unfortunately, I seem to have pulled a bonehead move. I decided to pull the OMP drive gear/shaft from the front cover, and while it came out just fine, looking inside the bore shows some very fine scratches now (I'm guessing from the c-clip channels, maybe they weren't perfectly clean?). Anyway, I put it all back together and it seems to be smooth, no binding or roughness or anything. Anyone think this will be a problem? Or should I just bite the bullet and pickup another front cover?

TIA!
Justin
