Only 5lbs of boost!!?!?!

I'm only getting 5lbs of boost in 1st and 2nd gear but in 3rd im able to get to around 9-10. I've read a bunch of posts but i'm still trying to figure out whats going on. I'm running sequential with intake, downpipe, midpipe and exhaust. I checked and i have both of my pills in the lines. Anyone have any ideas? If i cant figure it out i might just end up going non-sequential, thanks for any help!

I had a similiar problem and it was the check valve on the line that goes between the y pipe and the pressure chamber on top.

As most will tell you on here... running downpipe, midpipe, and "exhaust" which I assume means cat back will make too much boost. I haven't ran this setup at all (with or withotut an ECU). I assume that if you opened up the entire exhaust, yuo should be running more than the normal 10-8-10 pattern, so you might have a problem with the lines controlling it.

I'm not sure on that, but I'd say if you opened up the whole exhaust system and are still running stock boost that something's wrong. Along the same lines... if you're running stock boost, your engine should be safe, but if you get it running "correctly" with the full exhaust, you're going to need some supporting mods to make sure the engine keeps running like that.

hey montego, you're right, i forgot to mention that i do have an upgraded ecu to handle the modifications.

I ended up buying 4 new check valves from dale since they were so cheap and i'll probably install them this weekend, hopefully its the problem.
