One way Valve Question.
I had a problem the other day with this orange hose thingy?? I believe it is a one way valve. Anyway I have got a hose clamp and tried to ix the problem but I think it is still an issue as it idles roughly. I can hear some air hissing around the area. Do I have to buy a new hose and valve or what??? How do they work. ANy help would be great. thanks.

It is hard to explain. The best way I can describe it is under the strut brace. There is a fat hose that runs from the intercooler and ends up running into this one way valve. This valve sits vertical and the pipe that runs off it goes horizontal to it. I hope this helps. (Hose Is about 60mm diameter)I have been told that it is a one way valve that may not be correct?? The 60mm hose was attached with a hos clamp I ended up connecting another one, but is a short term fix.

If it comes off the intercooler and is around 60mm in diameter, then it is an air hose most likely. It sounds like the coupler between the y-pipe and the crossover pipe that leads to the intercooler.
It is not a one-way valve.
There should be two hose clamps on it (one upper, one lower).
If you are hearing air hissing then you need to check for loose vacuum lines in the area.
