One piece Exhaust...
One piece Exhaust...
Anyone here have an exhaust that goes from turbo to the catback and it's all one Piece? No flanges nothing? I was wandering if there were any benefits or drawbacks to doing it... I'm not planing on ever replacing it once i bolted it to my single and all the way back....
Any pics as well would be nice...
Thanks

IMHO, bad idea. If you had to do a clutch job, you'd need to pull the exhaust, and removing giant one-piece exhausts is a pain in the ***. Unless you have a lift and can get it WAY up in the air
.
I've worked on FC's that had muffler shop exhausts that were one piece, and they were a HUGE pain in the ***.
Having the exhaust in 3 pieces with bolts and nuts connecting each piece is the way to go. Easy to work on, not many failure points, etc.

the thing that bugs me is that i get leaks at the flanges between the hi-flow cat and dp... and i was thinking once all that is one piece and welded... there is nothing to worry about...
