i got the 99s installed at kdr and dave showed me the origionals, he said they are in really good shape and i should try wither selling em or maybe down the line porting em. i have no idea what i can get for em but im open to offers, ill post some pics in a bit, but as of now anyone got any idea how much they would sell for. oh btw i had to have em replaced b/c one of em blew... pretty sure it was the secondary

They are worth nothing. Put them in a box and ship them to me and i will dispose of it for you, free of charge. j/k

Im not sure how much they are worth with a blown 2nd-ary turbo. Maybe $200? just a guess

Did you have any dyno testing done on your new 99 turbos?

Post them for sale on here and if that doesn't work there's always ebay. Hey even a little $$ in the pocket and the little bit of hassle of posting to get rid of them is better than having something that you'll never use taking up space. Someone might use them to send the BNR for rebuilds or something.

Turbos can be rebult whether they are blown or trashed. The turbos I sent to Bryan at BNR had 100K on them and were pretty worn. They came back looking like new. As long as their are no huge cracks then they are rebuildable. You can get atleast $175-$200 for them.

Well it kinda depends on whats messed up. If you've ever blown your motor chances are one of them has a bad turnine wheel which means they will cost a lot to rebuild....sometimes its not worth it if the turbine wheel is bad as you can buy a used turbo with a good wheel cheaper than buying a new wheel.

Anyway the only way to know if you have turbine wheel damage or not is to break open the turbo so you can see the shaft and back side of both wheels (basically the guts of the turbo).

I buy old turbos that smoke but are still rebuildable but since you dont know for sure (I'm assuming) if the turbine wheels are good I could only give you like $100 for them. If you want to pull the turbo apart and check the turbine wheels I could give you a little more if they are good.

If your interested shoot me a email at SJWhite2000@aol.com maybe we can work something out.

STEPHEN
