Red face OK done some checking of my boost problem......what's next?

OK I checked my CRV = good(couldn't blow through unless vacuum was applied on the little tube diaphram)

BOV is working fine = good(vented it and seems to work fine)

Y Pipe = good(silicone clamp)

IC hoses = no visible tears or that I could feel or see when squeezing the hoses)

Boost problem follows as is.......
8-2-8. Seems the secondary isn't pre-spooling because of the dip and how long it takes too spool up agian. Why is 8 my ceiling boost?

Doing vacuum line job soon. (can I dab a little super glue on the hoses when putting them on so they stick better?)

What else could it be? If you can help me, I need to know what to check, what it does, and how to check it.

Also I tried fooling with my boost controller which was set on its lowest setting(like always). I turned it up a little on my boost controller and it topped out at 10psi and was a little quicker on the 4500K rpm boost rebuild. Didn't think it was a good idea to run my turbos harder just to get 10 psi.

Thanks for your help guys!!!

MODS =
35k on new engine
25K on new turbo
SS DP, Gutted Cat, Cat Back, Boost controllers and other non HP performance related mods.

Super glue is ok if it does not affect the rubber tubing . Garfinkle flares the ends of the steel tubes when possible and uses tie wraps. he uses buna-n tubing or viton if you can afford it. the fiared tubes work very well butt it does take alittle more time.

Try the procedure in this thread for testing for boost leaks. It sounds like that could be your problem even if your couplers and hoses look good.

Hey I find out that my intercooler coupler has a tear so I replace it with one of the used coupler from the stock intercooler. Now where can I find rubber coupler because the used one I put in is looking not good. I went to the auto parts store and they don't carry hoses that big. So if you know please let me know where I can get the coupler or hoses. thank you

OK, It's my CCA not working correctly. It's either not holding vacuum, leaking it, or the CCA is F.U.B.R. Now how do I go about making sure the CCA is working correctly. My CCA is only working sometimes.

Please help!

And P'Cola that site is great but kinda confusing at some points, if you can throw your own words in here for my little situation that would be great.

First thing you need to do is "T" into the hose going to the CCA. Get a vacuum "tee" and splice into the hose going to the CCA. The "tee" makes a T with three plastic pipes. You should have one hose going to the CCA nipple, one hose should be the hose that normally plugs onto the CCA nipple, and the other should go to your boost gauge. Now do a third gear run. Before 4,500 rpm there should be vacuum, and after there should be pressure. If that is normal then you need to take the y-pipe off, and test the CCA with a vacuum and pressure pump. Let me know what happens.

OK it's been a couple of days since I have looked at the CCA, but I thought it had 2 hoses going into it, which hose are you talkign about?

The nipple coming off the y-pipe and into cca is not the one to tee into. It's the other one.

One hose comes from the y-pipe and is very short, you don't want that one. The other comes from from the vertical row of pipes on the LIM, that is the hose you want.
