Oil Pressure Gauge Probe Location

Hey, where's the best place to tap for an oil pressure gauge probe? I have my water temp in the thermo housing but I'm not sure where to put the oil temp and pressure. They make an adapter for the 13B and 12A but for whatever reason it's not availiable for the REW. Any ideas??

Max, what size is the oem sensor? The Autometer one uses a 1/8 or 1/4"NPT fitting. I didn't think the oem one was quite that big.

Great, now all I have to find is a 1/8 BSP male to female adapter with a 1/8NPT port on the side. I'll just run down to Kmart and pick one up. Thanks guys. Anyone have a hookup on obscure, hard to find adapters?

Try this thred - I went through this recently

https://www.rx7club.com/forum/showth...ressure+sender

Quote of my post from above thread:

I stopped in at MARIAH on Friday and got the info I needed, the PORT on the Engine is 28tpi ( not sure if it is BSPT? or Metric?) and tapered - The Nipple on the SENDER is 27tpi NPT. MAZDA uses an ADAPTER 27tpi female > 28tpi male that is already on the OEM sender, so no additional adapter is required. My guess is that MAZDA shares OEM suppliers with FORD for the senders hence the NPT (US) threads.
