Oil can't leak from the spark plug. Post pics of your leak for us to take a look at, it's likely coming from somewhere else.

You should also check the oil line to your turbo's... Follow your oil filler neck all the way down to the rotor housing and it should be sitting closest to the front of the car from there. If that fitement is loose...oil will leak down the side of your motor and get your plugs all gross.

When I found it on my FD someone tried to tell me it was because the motor was built with FC housings.
That is not true, some FD housings have that pipe, and if not capped oil gets dumped everywhere.
You may want to remove the UIM and coils to clean the top of your motor, as there is probably a nice little puddle there.

^ Yep. I've seen some FD motors with that nipple as well. It's the FC design - might not necessarily be an FC housing, but it works.
Just cap it up. Good way to do it is to get the EPDM caps from McMaster Carr - they're heat and oil resistant. If you get ones from the parts store they'll fail within a month.

HI
Isn`t this nipple only for engine breathing?
I will put a cap on this because i want my oil leak done but i think Mazda could think in a better way of doing that, if not necessary should be eliminate on housing.
Ray at Mazda Malloy told me that it doesn`t do anything, but i think if this is there, something it does or should do.
Iam waiting for a cap and a lower IC pipe solve it. i also have O rings to oil pedestal and oil filler neck to do at once.
Thanks
Filipe

If you want really want to be ****, you can connect a tube to it and join it to the standard FD crankcase venting lines with a T or Y splitter (or run it to a catch can).
