Oil leakat front gasket

I noticed oil all over the ground and took my car to the mechanic todaay and he told me the gasket between the front case and front rotor houing is broke.He showed me where and I could see but he told me it would be 10 hours of labor to fix at 60 p hour.Does this sound right.And also I heard their was a rotary specialist in queens new york t and r or b and r ,Does anyone know?thank you.

t and r racing. Got www.rx7s.com and you will find them. They are extremely open and willing to talk on the phone too. That is very rare these days.

I think that sounds right although the labor is pretty cheap. My dealer quoted me similar hours but at $95/hr. I confirmed the hours with Pettit.

Since it was about $1200 to fix a $15 gasket, I just let it leak for now until I pull it apart myself.

Problem is that you have to pull everything off the front of the motor to fix it.
