oil in IC piping?

oil in IC piping?

i have some oil on the inside of my intercooler piping. are my twins going out?
the twins have about 49K miles on them and i ran them at 15 psi for the last 18K miles

Oil in the IC piping doesn't necessarily mean your turbo's going bad. Stock twins always seem to spit out oil no matter now new(from my experience).

You'll know when your turbo's go out when you start smoking heavily from the tail pipe after warm up.

I think that's pretty true.. My IC piping and intercooler is pretty soaked with oil..

Just about any stock twin with about 10k miles on it will blow some oil.
When they really go out, they will take the teeth off the blades
Mine did..
