oil filter spacer?

I've been transfering parts to the new engine, and the new engine came with what was claimed to be a Gotham Racing Oil Filter relocation kit, which pretty much just puts the filter higher up and i guess at a more convenient location.

It also came with a stainless hose that goes from the base of the oil filter to where my current oil supply comes from at the front of the engine. This leaves no spot to get oil to my turbo, and also makes it so my fuel lines need to be bent, the metal lines that bolt to the top of the engine. Has this oil filter kit just been installed incorrectly? or should i just do away with it? is this really a gotham kit, i cant find it on their website

the stainless line and elbo are where it would interfere with my fuel lines

this is at the front of the engine at the spot that should supplie oil to my turbo, instead its routed back to the oil filter block

Thats not Gotham's. I would get rid of it and source the oil for the turbo like it is supposed to be, as it is doing nothing but looping the oil. There is a modification that involves running a hose from the front iron to the rear to reduce wear at cold start, but this is something different. The modification I have in mind involves machining the front iron for an oil source.

The pics in your other thread look like the modification I had in mind. The theory is to get oil faster to the rear of the motor during cranking and cold start to reduce wear. Will that hose and fitting thread into the extra hole you seem to have machined in the front side of the motor?

They arent the same size and the hose is too short. Maybe he was planning on running a separate feed to the turbo?
