oil filter sandwich adaptor fitment problem

I Just purchased a SIGNAL RACING ( ex japan ) oil filter sandwich adapter to hook up an oil pressure gauge to. The adaptor itself fits onto the filter base fine but because of the thickness of the adaptor my filter wont fit onto it because it now sits too high and my TPS s in the way.

Has anyone else ever run into this problem? if so what did you do? I have a feeling I'm gonna be stripping back to the TB to get this filter screwed on, THAT SUX!!

Pull off the TB, install filter, but TB back on.

This is a better idea IMO:

With the Greddy adapter plate and stock oil filter, you have to unplug the TPS harness and push the fast idle cam up to get the filter on/off.

What A PITA! Send it back. Get the REspeed. I have both the oil pressure and temp guage senders in it. No issues whatsoever. A bit tricky to get the rear nut on w/ engine in car but doable. Good luck.
