oil cooler lines???

I have a question on how to remove the oil cooler lines so I can get the engine out for the rebuild... do I really need to buy the 24mm and 27mm wrenches or is there some secret to getting them off??? this is all that is delaying me from sending that biotch off to pineapple for a nice cryotreated rebuild. thanks in advance

Question

Pop the circlip like wires at the couplings to the oil cooler, this leaves part of the hoses with the engine. After you get the engine out then use an adjustable wrench to get them off the engine.

I just disassembled my long block at work and it there it was two banjo bolts, on on the oil filter pedestal and on on the front cover. I think they were 22 or 24mm or was it 21mm. Or you can seperate the lines luneytune said, but the shop might loose the two lines attached to the block.
