does anyone know how much oil i need to replace in my FD when i go to change it? i get contrasting opinions.. 3 quarts 3.5 quarts... i have a 93 i don't have dual oil coolers (R1). please PM me. thanx!

Put in 3.5. Start the engine. Run for 1 miinute. Let it sit for a couple of minutes. Fill until full.

i thought all rx7's you always change and add 5 qts.. ?? i have a 1st 2nd and 3rd and i put 5qts in all the time. and its never over.. only if your doing a whole flush do the cars differ.. (3rd twin oil coolers r-1) (1st gen honeycomb small oil cooler)

 

Nope....if you are adding 5 quarts to an FD, something is wonky!
