Oil blowing through Intercooler

Did some searching, and was thinking my turbos are going bad which is usually the case. I was disassembling everything between the UIM and intercooler today to see where my plugs were getting fouled from, and found oil and carbon buildup throughout the flexible hose and everything straight up to the throttlebody (it was spotless and shines like brand new, weird). I'm guessing the intercooler may be fubar'd also and possibly the twins because they are leaking oil. Should I replace the intercooler after the turbo rebuild?

A little oil is normal and nothing to worry about. Excessive oil would be a concern.

Why would the intercooler be bad? If there is alot of oil just dump some dishsoap in it, add water, shake it up and rinse out really good.

As mentioned above, your IC is fine, just run some water through it to clean it out. I typically do it once every year.

Also, here's some good information regarding oil in the intake piping (scroll down a bit to Mahjik's post).

lol no it's like everyone said, just a coating on the inside, nothing thick or pooling up in it. Thanks for the help guys. Seems like every time I ask a question it's on some crap I should have known and sound like some noob.

The turbos are in fact leaking oil though (on their last leg) so it's prob a little more than usual, smoke comes out the tailpipes at high rpms so they need replaced. Will be washing the IC soon though, great tip.
