I installed a Nitrous Express stage 1 EFI wet system w/purge valve on my car today. What a kick in the ***.
Only a 35 shot at 13 lbs of boost and I'm hooked.

nitrous on an FD!!! yeah,yeah,yeah I read all the can't put nitrous on the FD threads.

After careful consideration and research and after reading threads and speaking with guys running nitrous on 3rd gens I thought what the hell I'll try it plus its my 8th grade sons science project.

What mods do you have you say, well I have a Apexi AFC for added fuel a large V mount intercooler, intake, HKS boost controller, down pipe, mid-pipe, cat-back, no smog pump, fluidyne radiator and air fuel gauge reads well into the rich.

Will the engine blow up? maybe but I'll have fun til it does. (then I'll do the dare I say LS1 swap)

no, infact the transition between the 1st and 2nd turbo is so quick there is really no drop and at 13lbs boost starts to drop off.

Just dump that standard air/fuel gauge and put in a wideband. "Rich" on that gauge might mean 14.4:1 AFR, and if so, you might blow at any time.

I would be curious to see what kind of dyno numbers you are making with and without the nitrous. I would be willing to bet you are getting more the 35 rwhp with the setup, due to the cooling effect of nitrous. Im thinking probably 40 - 50 is not an unreasonable guess.

you should get a wideband to be safe...i have one and there is no worries when i drive my car hard because i can monitor it very easily.

The car is going on a Mustang dyno and it uses a wide band O2 sensor for tuning ,so I'll see how much the Auto meter gauge is off .

I'm not sure about nitrous on an FD but I had a 150 shot on a camaro a long time ago and I was hooked. Easily the best bang for the buck. Unless the bang is your motor
