OEM shift **** options
Hey guys, the leather on my oem shift **** is completely worn. Just wanted to know whats the best Oem shift **** that will fit. I dont really like aftermarket shift ***** as they tend to get too hot or cold during the summer/winter months. So after a trip to the junk yard, i just picked up a nice weighted mx6 shift ****. It fits and feels perfect. Total cost was 1 dollar.

Anyone interested in shift ***** should at least take a look at the incredible ***** that Landon is making for people. His thread in the Vendor Classifieds section shows maybe 20 different *****. I bought 2 of them. He'll make whatever you can dream up. Here's a direct link to his thread...

If you can find one, the Mazdaspeed shift **** for the FD is EXCELLENT, that's what I have. Perforated leather, has the Mazdaspeed logo embossed on the side, and it's weighted and VERY heavy. Looks, works, and feels great.

Its most likely the one discussed here:

Hard to beat if a weighted oem quality, leather wrapped **** is what you are after.

Yes, it's the same one as shown in the post linked above. I can't remember what model it came from but it came in Mitsubishi packaging w/ Mistubishi part number so it's a good quality shift ****. I actually purchased it from this guy on E-bay:
