I also have a japanese video that the NSX gets its butt kicked by the top of the line FD in Japan NOW in 2 different races. Both 5 lapper and 20 lapper. Even the guy who drove the FD in 20 laps said the FD is better. It has better tire wear and no more overheating problem!

Easier to drive too

Thumbs up

Yeah I just dl that 5 lap video. That race was awsome. I was sweatin there for a sec when the Skyline was tailing the 7.
I swear that R34 was way too fast for stock. I remember an older video where the Skyline was fighting to get in 3rd place. But in this one it took off like a rocket passing everyone up. Whats up with that?? Maybe it was the driver. Too bad they couldn't get an RZ in there. I want to see how it would compare.... Anyone has videos? I've got an FTP....

the J-spec NSX is the fastest Japanese car in a straight line currently in Japan, as stated in a Japanese race video with translations at the bottom.

the J-spec NSX will always beat the J-spec RX-7 if they are the both the same year.

the US-spec RX-7 will always beat the US-spec NSX if they are the same year, which is only 93-95.

got in now??
does that included the RZ?

I love it...

...The commentator is making exuses for the GT-R, while the GT-R driver: "RX-7 is really fast", "Can't chase up at all", "Win totally at straight line".

Please, somebody just host the video, or post a link where we can download it.

...Unforutately, the last I posted a video link here, geoshities deleted my entire ******* website! I will send it to anyone personally, who has AIM, or ICQ, or if someone will post it for me. Otherwise I'm thinking of buyin some damn webspace 'cause I don't like the idea of having mine deleted over some stupid link... until then, PM if you're interested.

Hmmmm....

I don't know. I met up with a guy in a 98 NSX about two months ago, and I beat him at the stop light, if just. Granted, with two cars so closely rated it comes down to driver reaction and skill (and god knows i ain't got much skill!!)

BUT, he had a full cat-back system, while my 93 is absolutely bone stock. he even admitted that my car was faster, and he was surprised to learn i didn't have any mods on it. plus, i paid $61,000 less than him, and my car is nicer looking, too!! he was really cool; we pulled over in a wal-mart parking lot and talked about our cars for damn near a 1/2 hour.
