Looks like a Wolf spider. The things come in a variety of sizes. Move quick. Non poisonous, but I don`t want one near me thank you!!!
See them more in the winter in the house than at any other time. They are usually wandering around on the carpet looking for something to "eat". I am brave when I can wield a shoe!! Outside of that, I aint touchin` one!

It took a few minutes before I found a safe place to pull to the side of the freeway, get out of my car, and wipe the damn bee of my pants!! lol The scariest part was trying to remain calm, when there is a bee crawling on my leg closer and closer to my shirt!

I still to this day have no idea how a bee flew into my car while driving, and landed on my leg
I have a similar too (I guess # 3 bee story). I was driving with the windows and sunroof open and the ****** flew right in from the roof and landed right in my crotch and fell under it! I pushed myself up from the seat and then slowed down until I managed to stop and get out of the car. It was sitting were my cojones normally rest...
Killed it and went home.

Yeah I think finishing the car will be the solution. The longblock should be ready to go this weekend and drop it in the next. I'm keeping my fingers crossed. The latest snag was snapping a turbo stud. I wish I had known what those inconel distortion type lock nuts actually were when I started. For one time use only and super expensive. I'm giving the ATP turbo ones a go. We'll see how that works out.

Yeah I hope I got them all too. Though the brown recluse's bite is more deadly, at least the bite is supposedly painless. . . .until your arm falls off.

C'mon, if we can afford to put gas in our FD's I'm sure we can afford a little overkill on mothball usage.

Gio, nice pic.

Yeah I grew up in NJ. While NJ may not be huge in wildlife, huge wolf spiders they've got. Must be something in the water. I went camping as a kid and woke up with one of those monsters on my pillow once.

Arachnophobia. I swear to god, my car is attacked by Spider webs. Sometimes I'm worried I'll be attacked while I'm working on my car =[

I had one crawl off my head rest into my hair...I felt something so I flicked my hair and it flew onto my door panel next to the window. I scooted as far away as I could and opened the window and then flicked it out. All of this happened as I drove down the freeway.....I hate spiders.

Be careful with the mothballs.

I put a few in my car years ago (squirrel problem, search my threads and read) to prevent them from moving from the engine bay to the interior.

I later moved to a new location and squirrels haven't been a problem since

that was over a year ago, and it still smells like I banged Barbra Walters in my back hatch.

I plan on fully stripping my interior, in order to clean the smell out.
