1980 rx7 turns over but won't start.

I have a 1980 Mazda rx7 that will turn over but won't start. I can push start the car with no problem. Running is a little rough. Anyone have any ideas?

Sounds like the engine needs a rebuild, or the carb does cause its flooding, first step would be a compression test

Test your trailing igniter it's not uncommon for a igniter to go out
