Not getting normal boost readings?

Last night I was driving home and I noticed that I was not getting much power under boost. I stopped, checked the vacuum readings at idle and they were fine showing around 20 @ around 900 rpm's. I put it in 1st gear, got on it real quick to 4,000 rpm's to see what the boost readings showed. It only went to 5 lbs. I am running it at 12lbs. I took it out this morning for about 5- 10 minutes. If I am cruising at 2,000 or 3,000 rpm and then get on it the boost meter will not go above 0 lbs. If I get on it right away when I put it in gear it climbs to 5 lbs and thats it, 2nd gear getting on it shows around 3- 4 lbs and 3rd gear showed around 5 lbs of boost again. I did not bother trying 4th or 5th gear to check their readings. If it is anything major I did not want to do anymore harm, so I parked it back in my garage. I did hear something that sounded like a rattle on the passenger side of the engine bay when the boost peaked at 5 lbs. I was all ready taking the car up to Dave at KDR on the 22nd of July, so he will look at what the problem is when I am up there. I just want to know before I go up to KDR if anyone can give me any input on what they think the problem might be. Its just going to bother me until then if I can't get any info on what the problem is. Any input would be appreciated.

My mods right now are:
Power FC
Greddy intake
Greddy front mount intercooler
Hks downpipe
Highflow cat
Apex-i N1 Duals
Koyo radiator
Dual oil coolers
Stock twins

The easiest-to-fix and most likely problem is a boost leak at one of the boost couplers. There is one between a) the turbo outlet and the pipe to the intercooler (IC), b) one betw this pipe and the IC, and c) one betw the IC ind the inlet pipe. Cracks or tears in these couplers may not be obvious. You may need to remove and inspect them to find a tear.
