Is this normal???
I was taking off my wheels yesterday to clean and I decided to do the hands on 12 and 6 test to see if my wheel bearings were going out (I've been having loud cabin noise). I didn't really get any play, but then I did a hands on 3 and 9 test and got a noticable movement, nothing that can be seen, but it caused a knocking sound.
Since it happened on both my rear wheels I was wondering it anyone has exprienced this and what was causing it. I think its the toe-control-link, since it looks like the only component that controls laterial movement. Any knowledgable input would be great!
Thank you

toe links are common. get a friend to move the wheel back and forth while you put your hands on all the suspension points. especially the pillow ball bushings in the tralinig arm and i beam.

No that is NOT normal. There shouldnt be any moment at all.
Toe Link (can be bad) and Trailing Link (pillow ball bushings) are also very common and known for clunkings noise which can mostly be heard when shifting into different gear. I would look closely to inspect both of those components by pushing and pulling on them to see if there are any movements.
