is this normal?
Is it normal for a blowoff valve to shoot out some moisture? The tip of the bov has some moisture on it. It 's pointed at the back of my air box and there is moisture on there as well. Also, is there a coolant line that 's above the y pipe or anywhere near it? There seems to be some wet spot on my y pipe and when it steams it smells like coolant.
ummm... I would figure out what that wet spot is on the y-pipe RIGHT NOW. I hope your not driving the car if you even have the concern that there might be a coolant leak.
the hoses around the turbos are know to degrade from the excessive heat and may eventually split. If you can't tell from eyeing it where the leak is coming from, pressure test your system and you should see it very quickly.
