Fuel Pressure solenoid

Hey guys if your doing this mod don't pull the Fuel Pressure solenoid out that isn't pictured in the vac hose diagram. Just a small point. I did this conversion with the absense of the catch can vac hose as well, and I'm very pleased. I've had it up and running for about 4 months now. Cleans up under the upper intake alot.

So if the fpr can be hooked up to the uim directly what is the solenoid there for? I'm sure it has a reason for life, it must do something.

Also, about the charcoal canister.....what is its purpose in life? Where is the charcoal canister actually located???

Hey Rikki, could you also give a little more detail on how you hooked up the manual wg control? I'm going to be doing this in a couple weeks and if you could give a little info on it that might save me some time

Yeah me and Ryan did the full non seq on my car. It does lag a little but we haven't tuned my wastegate or anything yet. But I'm happy with the overall driveability of the car now. Its MUCH smoother now. When the power comes on though it is so sweet. Just a warning: YOUR CAR WILL BE A **** TON LOUDER. Thats the only thing I don't like. It sounds more tinny(?) now then it used to.

Ryan is the Man though

Could you please go into detail about "a **** ton louder"?

I'm fixing to be non seq but I dont really want my car super loud. I dont mind if its a wot but is it "a **** ton louder" even when cruising down the road? I'm expecting it to be a little louder but I dont want it to be 2x as loud even when I'm just cruising on the interstate. My wife and I like to take trips in it (long trips) and I love 10hr road trips. With the Pettit dual tip and resonated mp its not bad at all when cruising.....I'd hate to give that up for a few vac lines. Damn, I wish I knew before hand cause it would be alot work to swap manifolds and everything so I can go back to seq if its too loud.

Hey mister post ***** answer this for me......

How much louder is non seq after the manifold door is cut out and all that. I know you guys said "a **** ton louder"....well how mush louder is a **** ton???

My main concern is under light throttle like cruising down the interstate at 3K rpms. Is it going to be much louder than seq even when not under boost.

BTW - I posted this the other day, you may or may not have seen it and posted, if you did I missed it cause the forum ate it lol

Hmm, well now I'm torn. I want to get a set of hybrid's but I really need to run the non seq. The only prob is we like to take long road trips on my car. I was hoping the extra noise was mostly under boost or at wot. I didnt think it would be much different when just cruising down the hwy.

Maybe I need to rethink this.
