Ok it was just hard to believe that. Ok only a few more annoying questions. Did you have to use any block off plates? And what did you pull out completely.

No problem, hehe. Didnt know if you saw that post or not so I thought I would clarify for ya. Anyways, do you have to block off everything, I mean I have the double throttle taken care of and the AWS system but is everything else necessary?? Just wondering, I just need to get some ramps so I can get under the car to take off that damn TCA first. Hopefully a nice detailed write up is done by that time, thanks.

hmmmm, ok, quick question, don't we have a fuel pressure solenoid or something to that effect that has to stay? I know all the other ones can go but where is this solenoid and it does have to stay right?

some of you guys are dead set on doing this...I write this to those of you who are looking into it as to present a few reasons to stay sequential...rikki after all is very very convincing in his arguments and the rikki charisma is infectious on these boards...

I was tuning my car with fdracer last night...he runs non seq and has a very nice machine...almost the same mods as I have except his twin upgrades are the turbonetics set...anyhow...he flat out said that his car did not have the drivability that mine did running the m2set sequentially vs his non sequentially...he literally was suprised by the power i had way down low. Ive ridden in a few non seq fds and driven as well...I completely agree.

non seq may make things simpler...may make life easier under the hood but it causes LAG...enough to be bothersome if you drive in traffic a lot IMHO. if you have a streetport than it compounds the low end loss and makes the car a freeway racer in my eyes.

Im a stop light to stoplight guy...my fun comes on the streets...not always on the track...I find the low end invaluable and that is why I didnt go single.

kwik just got his upgraded set done non seq and seems to regret it from reading his posts...

all i have to say..to those considering it...is that it has its advantages and disadvantages...its up to you to decide if the advantages make the car you want...or if the disadvantages make the car you do not...lag sucks...Ill stick with non seq...even if I have to deal with boost issues on occasion.

laters all...nice diagrams though ryan...contributing again...very nice.

I'm with artguy 100%

This mod is NOT for all of you. I did it for 2 reasons.

1) SIMPLIFICATION, SIMPLIFICATION, SIMPLIFICATION.

2) Going single turbo soon anyways...might as well get used to it.

If you :

1) Aren't good with mechanics

and/or

2) Like have more low end punch

then this mod is NOT for you.

I have NO solenoids. The FPR solenoid does not have to stay. I ran a vacuum hose from the UIM directly to the stock FPR. Then I retuned my PFC.

There should be some 12mm bolts underneath all of the solenoids somewhere. They're held in place with that. They MAY be under the coils, which you may have to remove.

Alright back on subject... You said you ran a vac hose directly from the UIM to the FPR, but you also have an aftermarket ECU. With the stock ECU is this still feasible or should i keep the solenoid.. Just tryin to be safe.

just run a hose to it. Dragon used the stock ecu with a S-AFC and a T-04E and it worked fine like that.
