well its been a while since my last update...

since then i have replaced the y pipe o ring, TB o ring, and y pipe gaskets.

it defiantly boosts quicker but the boost hasnt gotten higher at all... it maxes out at about 4.5psi or so.

i ordered a MBC but have to wait to install it due to ignition coils problems.

i still havent gotten a chance to do a compression test because i cant warm up my engine if it doesnt run... hopefully ill have my ignition problem fixed and can keep working on this boost issue

Do you have a cat? I don't know if this has been asked yet, but if you do run one, you should check it. I was having similar issues, couldn't get passed 5 psi - I had a clogged cat.

I can understand paying money for a EBC but since a MBC is just a valve i made one with parts lying in my neighbors garage, it boosts 14 psi all day no creep or spike but i also ported the waste gate and ground down the manifold so it can open further.

you think your the first person to think of that?

ive replaced all of the gaskets between the turbos and the throttle body. my intercooler isnt leaking and all my t bolt clamps are tight as F%&*. if i do have a leak its the UIM gasket or TB gasket. all of the block off plates and valves were resealed. and yesterday i checked all of my vac caps.. none are leaking and all of them are zip tied.

i know where a small leak is (UIM gasket) but even when i fixed the leaks i cant boost past 4psi. i know the system will hold up to 12spsi with a disconnected wastegate

i think its 7psi not sure if thats with, or without, a ported wastegate.

my boost is definatly more responsive. in 2nd gear it was about 5500 RPMS before i hit 4.5psi. now its about 4500rpms. and in 3rd i can get that by 4000rpms

wastegate flapper completely closed and sealed properly? Did you overport the wastegate?

again... i didnt do the non sequential conversion... i can hear the flapper hit metal when it closes so i assume its sealing properly but maybe not evenly. if i disconnect the wastegate i can boost up to 12psi. so somehow its coming open. im hoping the MBC i have will improve on it but i could just have a worn out wastegate actuator
