Thumbs up Nocab72's FD in October 2004 Turbo & High Tech Performance

Just thought I'd give a to nocab72 and his silver FD. Kyle's FD is currently featured in the October Turbo and High Tech Performance mag. The article is titled, "Radical Rotary".

Great job in representing us, Kyle!

FWIW, Kyle was instrumental in having me convert my red R1 to GReddy FMIC 2-row and big rwhp @ Rx7 Store, back in Jan 2003.

At the end of the article, Tony Kutlu (named miss spelled in article, aka bad dog on this forum) and Mike Holland (aka rotarded on this forum) were mentioned by Kyle.

Did the article mention anything about the $1,500 challenge from cdk4219 and how he pussed out after running his big fat mouth about having 485 RWHP?

yeah, congrats, but jim lab does make a point. Why not be cool and collected while building your fd instead of running the mouth. BTW, it said he had rear mazdaspeed fender flares, maybe it was just be but I didn't see them.

Maybe I wasn't clear enough... cdk4219 pussed out, not Kyle, and cdk4219 started the whole mess.

Sweetness!

The Turbo article has a few inaccuracies. Corner mount intercooler, Mazdaspeed fender flares? Nope!

He had originally supplied a 1 year old dyno graph. 8 hours of tuning 2 months ago and he sent one for 463 RWHP @ 18psi. The updated note at the end of the article said 450 RWHP.

Mike Holland (mis-spelled with one L in the article )

Thanks for the props Kyle!

Tell me you've figured out nocab72's real meaning a long time ago! Nocab spelled backwards is Bacon, and he was born in 1972 LOL

Good Job, Kyle!

I met Kyle when he was down here on work-related business... I hung out with him a few nights and he helped me set up my PFC/Datalogit/Wideband combo to learn how to tune myself.... Thanks again for the help and congratulations on getting your car featured.

I was lucky enough to see his car in person at Rotary Revolution. Two words: Absolutely Beautiful.

Nocab - I still havn't forgotten that you offered me a ride in it sometime, so the next time we are at the same event, I'm gonna bug you for it! Haha...
