No more exhaust leak

Some of you may have kept up with my downpipe install drama. Well, I ordered a new gasket and decided to tackle it today. I had planned to just replace the gasket and hope for the best, but when I saw on the old gasket, the black soot of where it was leaking, I knew I couldn't let that stripped bolt remain. So I went and bought a 10mm tap and refused to take no for and answer. You can't fit a tap bar in there, so I found that a 7mm socket will fit the end of the tap perfect. I used tapping oil and grinded away. Finally I have a good set of threads. Replaced the gasket, put in 4 new allen head bolts, and cranked them down. Now anyone on here who does their own work, knows the feeling of going to turn over the ignition. And the feeling of hearing it purrrrrrrrrrrrr. No more exhuast leak. Let it warm up and took it out for a "smokin the tires" spin around the block. The only soud I heard, was the beautiful whine of my twin turbos!!!! Well, anyway, thanks for all help/suggestions. I am just so happy now, I had to come post.

Sure was Adam. Was cake the second time. And I can't even express how much happier it makes me to drive the car with no leak. Even though performance wasn't hurt, it just bothered me. You are right about teh intake now, but I have to stop my boost spikes first. I only have a DP right now and I spike to 13psi.
