Any one ever have a problem with their coil packs not getting a signal??? Its really fustrating me cause i cant seem to find what the fu** is causeing it. thats the problem thats keeping my car from starting...i had it compression tested and everything was perfect. so if any 1 can help please drop me a line

the problem is that ther is no 12 volt getting to the coil packs??? still think that its ground? because the rest of the car powers up fine and the eng even turns over.

Assuming the starter, plugs, battery and alternator are all good, and you know the problem is with the coils, there are really only three options.
  • The coil pack is bad
  • Coil pack not getting power
  • Coil pack not grounded

Shouldn't be too tough to figure out which is the issue. I know places like AutoZone check starters and battery's for free, maybe they can check the coil pack too.

coil packs are just fine i checked them with an ohm meter. the stupid little ***** just arent getting power. my egi relay is fine too. please help the more i mess with it the more it bothers me... i am going to borrow my friends ecu and swap them out to see if that makes a diffrence. i still need to check my igniter but i dont think that thats the problem. and i have already checked the coil pack wire harness so any clues just drop me a line.

I just did an engine swap. My Coil packs arent getting any grounds either. They both got plenty of hot but the wires have no grounds.

My car is experiencing the same problem.
I have got power to my coils and ignighter but there is still no spark.
I have checked every single wire there is.
What have you guy found?

we found that droping in a ls1 would fix the issue! lol jk i having the same problems!!! but i wired mine into a 1973 rx3 with stock twins and harness.. anyways i was guessing my ignitor was bad ? i dont know .. i wana blow the car up!
