Assuming the starter, plugs, battery and alternator are all good, and you know the problem is with the coils, there are really only three options.
  • The coil pack is bad
  • Coil pack not getting power
  • Coil pack not grounded

Shouldn't be too tough to figure out which is the issue. I know places like AutoZone check starters and battery's for free, maybe they can check the coil pack too.

coil packs are just fine i checked them with an ohm meter. the stupid little ***** just arent getting power. my egi relay is fine too. please help the more i mess with it the more it bothers me... i am going to borrow my friends ecu and swap them out to see if that makes a diffrence. i still need to check my igniter but i dont think that thats the problem. and i have already checked the coil pack wire harness so any clues just drop me a line.

I just did an engine swap. My Coil packs arent getting any grounds either. They both got plenty of hot but the wires have no grounds.
