No dashboard power

None of the lights or radio in my dashboard will work. The headlights still work and the gauges still work, but no lights, no radio, and no dome lights, does anyone know what causes this and how I can fix it???

Mr. Obvious would suggest that you have a blown fuse. Have you checked? The fuse panel is by the clutch... there's a layout of which fuse controls what on the fuse panel cover.

I had this similar problem once. At the farthest end of the wiring, the ROOM fuse that controls the security system also links to the dome light. If this fuse is not the case, then follow the FSM wiring diagram farther back.

As for the dash and radio...When I encountered this problem, my car wouldn't start either, and it turned out my ignition switch was the problem.

A little research

I did a little research on the forum and a couple people said it was a short in a red wire with a black stripe. Is that the wire you're talking about and if so do you know where it runs in the car?
