No Check engine light
No Check engine light
I have a 3rd Gen Japan version and it seems that they do not have an engine light, so I wonder of someone know hows to setup something to read the codes.
I don't know if it's the same on J-spec cars, but try this.

Because they dont break down over there. They have car smart people with less hassle on emissions....lol..but on a seriouse note I have no idea. Check other mazda JDM cars to see if they have check engine lights

i have a series 5 jap import, no check engine light either. the rotor shops can check the codes with a special checker apparantly, so maybe the series 4 way of checking could work?

Japan Versions do have a light for codes the japan version uses the heat light, if you have a right hand drive car its the middle light to the left of the steering wheel. i live in japan and own a FD. Japaneese do this to not waste space.
