nitrous n2o????

i have read alot about rx-7s and i came across hearing this. that a small shot of n2o 35 or 50 shot . is not only harmless ( not used often ofcourse ) but also good for it because it cleans out the carbon build up. is this true is a small shot of n2o ok? im trying to keep my rx-7 as reliable as i can , but herd this so i had to ask... also how much power does a 35 or a 50 shot add on our cars??

Well, put it this way... If it was that good for the car and that safe to add, don't you think just about everyone would have it?

hmm... i agree everyone would have it if it was that good. but really how bad is it, if i ever put nitrous i would only do a 35 shot and use it probably once a month if that... i would just do it more for looks. but... there is always the temptation to do it once or twice. just want to know how bad it really is. if its gonna kill my engine that much quicker i will pass on the idea....

If you don't have an aftermarket programmable ECU, how are you going to tune for it?

That in itself would be asking to kill your engine.
