Nice & Cheap PFC Commander Holder

I was in BestBuy today and I found this car iPod holder. It's made by Bracketron and it was only $30. Cheaper than the Gotham Racing holder, and you can place it anywhere on the windshield. I wanted my PFC to be right in front of my face because I use it to monitor my engine temps (my gauge isn't working right now)...

Just wanted to share a few pics

Seems to be a pretty nice quality unit. The suction cup has a locking mechanism on it and the bendable arm is pretty sturdy. There are two different holders than snap onto the end of the arm - the big one (pictured) and a smaller one. The smaller one could be glued to the back of the PFC commander and you wouldn't even see it. Good deal for only $30!

its nice, i like it but those suction for the glass fails in a long run, if youre in a humid weather that should go off and drop your commander.

seems like a cig-outlet holder might get in the way of the wiper arm switch thingy

i bought a cig-outlet cell phone holder from Target on clearance for about $2.00. Has worked great for the past few years. I think I did have to hack it up a bit since this particular one was a little long in the piece that sticks into the cig lighter, but you can't tell at all when you're looking at it and I can see the commander perfectly when driving.

Of course I spent a lot less time worrying about temps and pressures once I had a solid motor and tune... but just for entertainment:

I custom made it, but thought this was (if applicable) the best place to mount. Stays out of the 'way' so to speak.

iv seen this on my firends car.. problem is that i wouldnt want it on the winshield because it seems to obstruct view maybe a lil and it would just bother me having that suction cupped to my window

Nice... Are you able to put it on the left side of the windshield (where your registration goes) without it being in your way/having proper view? I have gauges in the speaker pod that's why I ask

It looks like it works, albeit hideous and overt.

Ugly camera pix, but I love my gotham. I like the fact that you can bend it more towards you, and it makes it feels more like a drivers cockpit.

Seems like it would be less in the way there than blocking the view out the windshield and having the cord hanging down. I appreciate the alternatives, but I still like my Gotham.
