Newly rebuilt still won't run!

Ok, I'm about to get smart enough to give up. My car sat in my garage all last summer, spring and half the winter. Picked it up for the RX7 Store in February with a newly rebuilt street port. Tonight I was sitting at a stoplight, car idling and it just died. It won't even try to start. It felt like I had just turned the ignition off. No noise, no rough running, it just shut off. When I tried to restart it, it just cranks. Doesn't even try to start. I'm thinking something electrical. I purchased the car almost two years ago, have spent around 14,000 on it and the damn thing won't run. I'm pissed!! I have a fresh rebuild by the RX7 Store, (maybe 3,000 miles) a new upgraded fuel pump, stock mount aftermarket intercooler, new injectors, rebuilt stock twins, apex boost controller, new magnaflow resonated mid pipe, Mazda Sport cat back, new fuel filter, Twin-Power, after market fc with handheld, new oil pressure sending unit, new temp sensors, full non-sequential set up by RX7 Store, after market plug wires and God knows what else I'm forgetting. Just happened, I haven't had time to check anything. I had to call my wife to come get me (she has really had it with my car). Funny thing is I had driven to a local dealership (after hours) to check out new cars thinking I should unload my car before something else happened when it died. My 7 is now parked on their lot. Is my story typical or am I just cursed? I know its tough to diagnose problems without being hands-on, but if anyone has an idea what to check, I could sure use the help.

Check the basic stuffs first.

Check the fuel line if there is fuel coming to the engine + you diffenetly need a battery booster to boost the start up. I had the same peoblem and it cranked when i boosted up by the battery booster.

If it was running and then just suddenly stopped, it's most likely something electrical. Start by checking your battery and the fuses. Make sure something didn't just short out and blow a fuse (or zap your battery).

After that, check to make sure the ground strap (on most cars, it's attached near the spark plugs) is good (i.e. the wire isn't damaged or severed).

won't run

Thanks for the posts. I'm going to look at it this morning. I'll check all the usual, fuel, spark. I agree it is most likely electrical. It has been runing great, just wondered if it could be a common problem someone might recognize and point me to. Thanks again, its a new day, I can't live without driving my 7 so I wwill try again.

Found the problem!! The wiring harness to jack in my Twin Power got caught in the steering column. Tore it loss. I buy passed it and she started right up. The RX7 Store is ordering me a new harness. Thanks again for the posts. I think I'll keep her for a while longer. Once an idiot always an idiot......
