Smile Newbie just saying hi!

Hi. First time visiting the site in a while.

I used to own a 1988 RX-7 convertible about 1 1/2 years ago. Sweet looking, but slow as hell. Then got me a 97 Eclipse GS-T . I put just about any bolt-on on this one, but traction was definitely a hassle. I totaled it about a month ago.

Good new is that I promised myself that if I ever got rid of my DSM, I would come back to rotaries and get me one of those sweet FD's. That time is up, and tomorrow I will be picking up my next baby. I hope to get some snapshots and post them to see what you guys think.

I hope you guys got enough patience as the guys in DSMtalk; I will keeping the newbie questions to myself, but I will be asking the Do's and Don'ts, of course, I'll be searching first (they really stress that over there).

I see hard intake pipes, AST deletion, and some aftermarket battery wiring. Not a bad start. Did you do any of that or was it done when you bought it? Nice car BTW and welcome.

To be honest with you, the car isn't even sitting in my garage yet. I was supposed to pick it up yesterday, but it was raining BAD!! So, hopefully today willbe my lucky day.
Miles... 90,000 not too bad for a 93 I guess.

911GT2: What's the AST?

Air Seperation Tank. Its part of the stock coolant system. This and many other important questions can be answered with a quick search.

P.S. Read everything that you can.
