Angry newbee with serious problem!!!!

I just had my motor replaced about 3k ago and was still taking it easy on it and all of a sudden, the thing started running like ****. It starts cutting out around 3200 rpm, and there is a hollow rapping noised by my exhaust manifold. The motor is monster ported with a single turbo and all that happy stuff if that helps out with any suggestions as to wtf is going on. I'm ready to throw my helmet on and strap in, then take a big old oak tree out on a date in it, that is how pissed I am. Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Agreed, sounds like your rear rotor may be FUBAR'd. Take it back and make them rebuild it, if they don't agree to, shove it up their ***.

Take it back where? He never said it was done by a shop or anything. For all we know he could have rebuilt the motor and installed it himself.

He does say that he "had the motor replaced" that indicates that someone else did the work. First thing you need to do is a compression test. That will tell you if it is the engine, then if that turns out ok it is either in your tuning or other hardware.
I am guessing that you have a PFC or some other engine management. What turbo are you running, with which fuel system? What do you consider "taking it easy"?

I had the motor replaced at the rx7 store. I have the pfc with the ultimate fuel system from them. I spoke with Xavier, one of the guys at the store and he said it sound like a leak in my intercooler piping? I checked all that and even changed the plugs since they set the car to run rich since it was a new motor. I didn't boost for the first 1000 miles then didn't go above 5lbs. after 2000miles. I am going to try to make it up to see them this weekend and go from there. If the car makes it.
