Hi guys my name Is Dan Schoneck i am from Minnesota and Just bought my first rx7 which is a 93 blk/blk r1 car with a bad motor and also came with a ls1 motor/tranny swap. The car has 60000 miles and is in great condition minus a couple hail dents. I am picthing the ls1 and doing a FORD inline 6 cyl out of a Ford Falcon from Australia. It will host a viper spec 6 speed and a viper diff. The turbo going on it will come from Job Spetter ofTurbo People out of New York. It will be a 78mm dual ball bearing deal.

I have wanted one of these for ever and got the opertunity to help out a friend this week by buying his car. I am mainly into Mustangs and some Ls1 stuff, but am very excited to do this project. I will post some pics of the build in the next few weeks.

Dan

I feel bad for that FD.

1) Because it will have a Ford Inline 6 in it.
2) You're tossing the LS1, which is a more feasible swap for that car.
3) "Opertunity" is spelled opportunity.

Sorry on the spelling and thanks for being my grammer coach.
I am a ford man by heart so i wouldn't put a gm in my car if it was the last motor on earth. U have no clue who i am or what i have done so you ovoiusly have no clue on how much power it will make and how fast it will be, but you will see. I am sure there are going to be some haters along the way but I can handle it. At least i am not putting a supra motor in it.

1) You're welcome?
2) Never said I knew you or what you have done, so don't get defensive. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, yes?
3) There will be haters, I am sure of that too. Add me to that list.

The Falcon is an awesome car, and for no apparent reason, we can't get them here. If some hick from Minnesota wants to pull a motor swap, atleast it's with a fresh idea and not one that's been beaten to death. Bowties are for little boys

I'm a rotary fan by heart. . .most on this board are. But I'm also anxious to see how the car turns out. The inline 6 should save some weight compared to the ls1, and with that turbo, should produce some nice power.

Good luck on your project. . .ignore the haters
