New Turbos, New Injectors, New Tune
So i am about 90% sure my turbo's are shot. I blow smoke constantly, small amounts, but visible at idle. Huge clouds if i get on it and run the engine up to high rpms. It smokes regardless of amount of boost, I can slowly accelerate to 7k rpm and itll smoke bad, or i can go full boost to 7k rpm and it will just as badly.
I took off my Y pipe and there was a quarter sized pool of oil where the rear turbo connects to the Y pipe. Pretty sure this indicates i have a seal bad as this is the air inlet and theres no way oil from the motor could be getting there. at least thats how my logic works, maybe im wrong.
If you disagree and think it may be the motor and not my turbos please speak up.
but if you think it is my turbos, then heres my next question.
I am going to get a set of BNR stage 3's (http://www.rx7store.net/product_p/bn...e%203%20fd.htm) and the Extreme Fuel System (http://www.rx7store.net/product_p/extremefuelfd.htm) and then go get a new tune from ASpec (http://www.a-spectuning.com/home.html)
My car already has an Apexi Power Fc that was dynotuned by them a few years back where i was making 310 rwhp at 10 psi. Could I, if i stayed out of boost, drive my car 10ish hours from my house to the tuning place? or for that matter, even around the block to make sure everything is working?
Mods:

Cat-Back
Apexi Power FC

You are right in assuming the smoking is caused by the turbos considering you found oil in the Y-pipe. You should pull your intercooler out, there is probably a considerable amount of oil sitting at the bottom.
As for the tune, you will need to change the injector settings to match your new injectors. This is very simple assuming you have a commander. Just search the forums, there are numerous topics on injector settings. Once you do that, the car should be fne to get you to the tuner as long as you stay out of boost.

You mean commander? Your mods list shows that you have a PFC...
If you are not changing the primary injectors then you could limp it there, seeing as you won't be getting into much boost anyway... But if you have access to a commander it would be much better to adjust the injector settings before you drove it. Especially since with the twins it's really hard NOT to get into some boost even while driving easy.

So i finally have the turbo's off. 60 hour work weeks are making this a slow process. But anyways. i havent pulled the turbo's apart yet, just got them outta the engine bay.
Both turbo's have some up/down shaft play.
The front turbo has enough that there is very light scuffing on the housing.
There is almost no in/out shaft play.
The down pipe is very black inside, no liquid oil though. Same with the manifold itself. A lot of carbon buildup, but no liquid oil.
What is everyones opinions? Turbo's shot, maybe a seal in the motor instead?
What should i do to be more certain its the turbo's?
