i mean i new turbos on my car i checked the line and it doesnt have any pills? i looked at the turbo pipple and it looks normal to me? but i heard that on newer turbos the pills are built into the nipples ( what would they look like) i definantly dont have pills in the vac hoses the mechanic must have thrown them out if there are supposed to be pills how do i know???

 

Check the Wastegate and Pre-control actuator rubber hoses... Just squeeze them. You should find a small pill in the center of each hose.

There are only two pills, right?? Just did the hose-job, wanna make sure I got them all.

 

did you compare the inner diameter of the nipples on the new turbos to your old ones? if you cant tell, you can always just drive and see how it boosts. those hoses are not too hard to get to in the case you do need to put some restrictor pills in.
