new problem, new pic

ok, i have codes 30 33 39, done a swap, cranked it, has rough idle, and wont rev above 3000, without cutting out, and the check engine light blinks on, but dont stay. the codes are coming from the acv, i think, and i have taken the UIM off, and found some unhooked harness's, and a broken metal nipple, that a vacuum hose hooks too, im just wondering if the could be the source or my problems? ive included pics,

thanks, any advice would be appreciated!

Take remove the ACV, put a block off plate on, and put a resistor in the harness connection. Done.

Those connectors are the ones I was telling you about in the previous posts. They plug into the solenoids that go into the ACV. The reason you are pulling these codes is because these connectors are not plugged into their respective ACV solenoids, the ones I outlined in the previous posts. Look at page F119 of the workshop manual. Connectors 5, 6 & 7 are the ones that those connectors you have boxed above should go into, including the white connector just above it.

What are the wire colors going into each of those connectors? We can figure out which connector goes to which solenoid form this information.

I am pretty sure those two harnesses are different and only plug into one off of the ACV respectivally each. The top nipple should have a hose running to the switching valve solenoid in the rats nest.

In the top left of the picture ,there is a plug-like thing with two wires coming out of it. This is the "port air bypass" solenoid, and it plugs into the connector you have in the red box that has the blue wire going into it (the wire might be black, but it is the solid colored wire, NOT the black and red stripe wire). For that matter, the connector at the end of the wire coming from that solenoid can only plug into ONE of those three connectors you have boxed. Plug it in and the code for the port air bypass will go away.

There are three connectors for the acv i think two black ones and one white connector. Depending on how yo routed the harness you may have to take off the acv in order to plug in the connectors.
