And yes I know I need to polish my alternator and water pump

I just got done doing my major engine over-haul..... look under the intake manifold, nice ammount of room there now

Non-sequential is awesome, I'll never go back. 7 or 8 vacuum lines total now.

Next project is rims/tires/body/paint

The interior was painted when I bought it, I've though about putting it back to all black, but it isn't worth the $$ involved. The pieces were re-painted so it atleast looks semi-decent if you like that look.

I'm going with a 99 spec front end and lip, and I'm not sure what wing I'm going to get. I'm fond of the 99 spec wing and the stock R1 wing. I need to make up my mind still on that part.

Car looks great! Couple of questions for you.

Where did you get the intercooler pipe that fits between the Greddy Elbow and the intercooler? Did you have someone bend it for you? If so, any idea what the bend is (degrees)?

What BOV did you use on the other pipe?

How did you block off the stock BOV?

Well if he can add another different color to the interior, it might not look so bad after all.

Why not sand the red off and paint it gloss black. Would look a lot better than red IMO.

The interior is bit too ricy for my taste.
Otherwise, good work and keep on going!

By the way, if you are looking for a spoiler, I have JDM 1998 rx7 dolphin tail spoiler for sell.

In person the interior isn't too bad, most people like it to be honest. I personally don't care for the painted interior on most cars, but in this case it doesn't bother me too much.

In the future I might just paint it black if I decide to waste the time doing so.

The engine stuff is definitely staying red though.

And for the guy who asked about the pipe, I cut the pipe that came with the Greddy 2 piece kit and it fit perfectly.

I know, why don't we all sand down our FDs and paint all of them Flat Black and put the same wheels and tires on with the same exhaust and the same freaking stereo system!!! Then maybe when people post pics of their FD nobody can say, "Hey man, that sux! Why don't you do this, or why did you do that?" GEEZ! "xblazinlv" - If you like the car, then leave it alone. People around here seem to have Cookie Cutter Syndrome.

Anyway, I commend you on the work you've done.

I know this question isn't driected at me. But as far as blocking off the stock BOV: I have the Apexi 2-Chamber BOV mounted on my elbow and I didn't eliminate or block off the stock BOV...I just "T'd" into the vacuum line running to it off the UIM. I think you can do this with most BOVs. Props to "herblenny" of course.

I just got rubber caps and capped off the stock BOV locations.

The BOV I'm using now is the turbonetics raptor.
