1) read the faq, stickied at the top of this forum. The links within are loaded with even more info. The flamage you will receive is in regards to information already in that FAQ.
2) 3mm seals are popular among those running higher boost and at higher risk of detonation. While they will still break under detonation, many users find they are tougher than the 2mms.
3) Rotor Milling is the process of cutting the rotor seal slots to fit a 3mm instead of 2mm. Also, milling can be used to lighten rotors.

The problem with a public form is you will get people's opinions & beliefs. Not always the facts, quite rarely will it actually be fact.
People will even start by saying "IM not sure, but I think" That's a confidence builder.
Now........my advice to you is to rebuild the engine to stock levels & save your money. Don't start spending every cent you have to buy the loudest blow off valve, 19" rims & carbon vented hood.
Learn to drive the car. Respect the power & handling it has right out of the box. I doubt alot of people can even drive the car to the limits, but modify them anyway. Compete it some autocross events & lapping days. Unlike contrary belief The 3rd gen RX-7 is not a drag racer. Sure you can get it to work, but why???? Do you see people drag racing their Ferrari?
If you race on the street it will catch up to you. You will spin out, trust me we ALL do. The good (or lucky) drivers don't hit anything & just **** their pants.
Young drivers feel that they are the next Fernando Alonso (F-1 world camp). After all, that Sears driving school was top notch. Don't mistake courage for talent.
Anyway, this is not intended to be a personal attack, just some friendly advice for a old man who loves to drive fast & has been able to get away with it for years.
