New to the FD scene, got big plans, 13b-RE, need adivice on some stuff.(pics)
so finally after owning 7 FC's, i felt like it was time to move up.
im picking up an FD rolling chasis in 2 weeks(making space at home, etc). my freind is selling it to me, giving me cool deal on it.
i basically plan to Track the car.
heres the specs on the FD chasis.
its a 93, Base model?, has around 100k miles on the chasis, no sunroof, black cloth interior, has full drive train, clean title, no dents or dings.
its only missing the motor. and a few other things..
Basically i plan on swapping in my 13B-RE with t70 turbo vmount set up.
I was planning on swapping my 13B-RE into my 90GTUs, but i couldnt resist getting the FD. Everything i have all Came out of an FD(the 13bre, pfc, exhaust, manifold).
so i felt it right to swap it all back into an FD.
specs on the RE.
the Irons are in the process of being resurfaced, large streetport, solid corner seals, OEM apex seals, swapped out and ported the sleeves on housings, throttle body mod.
Im just waiting to buy an FD oil pan, stock OEM motor mounts and bracket, front cover, and what ever else is needed to swap in the RE into the FD chasis.
Other things i have for the Swap.
T70 masterpower turbo(a/r .70, hot side .96)(oil cooled), RE-Amemiya Turbo manifold, Power Fc with commander, greddy profec b boos controller, Turbonetics wastegate( i think it has a 18lbs spring on it),supra TT fuel pump, Apexi GT spec 4inch exhaust(off a jspec fd),and i think i have some more things, but cant remember at the moment.
ive been researching on the Cosmo swap into an FD chasis, and so far i think ive decided im going to tap the rear RE iron to allow me to bolt on the FD motor mount brackets.
i also plan doing the R1 oil cooler conversion.
right now i just kinda need advice, on what im still missing, and any info would be very helpful and appriciated.
heres some pics.. enjoy.. thanks for your time.
some pics i took before i sent my irons to get resurfaced..

is there any specific things i should replace in the car, as soon as i begin to work on it?
like, harness's, bushings, and stuff of that nature.
i only truely know fc's inside out lol..

stock FD ones can be fine. since you're going to be pushing a lot of power I'd also get the hks twin power ignition amp.
Also, put the car on jacks and pull the tires off to check for any wear/play in the bushings. Pillowballs may need to be replaced.
good luck, hiii meee
