New ECU? Why?

I have the following mods.

Two questions:
Do I need to get a new ECU?

If so, why?

I don't think you do. It really depends on your boost. The higher levels of boost you run, the more fuel you need to add to the air/fuel mixture. That is the reason you should add an upgraded ECU.

If you are staying a the stock boost level, then there is really no need to upgrade unless you just want to....

Definitely, they will help out if you ever need to troubleshoot a boost or vacuum problem. I hope you never do though.

You should definitely get a boost gauge to make sure you're not boosting too high and for troubleshooting.

With a stock ecu, you should probably not boost more than 11 psi, I think 12 psi would be pushing it. Depending on YOUR car, you might need to install larger restrictor pills or use a boost controller but probably not.
