New Clutch comes with rattle!!!

I finally finished my clutch job, I put an HKS GD Pro Twin plate clutch in my FD. When the car is on and the car is in neutral it sounds fine. When I begin to apply pressure to the clutch pedal I get a rattling sound and if I push the clutch in further it just gets worse. I have ruled out the pilot bearing because when in gear it does not make any noise, plus the bearing is brand new. If anyone has any ideas I would greatly appreciate it.
Thanks,

Alex

this is typical of multi plate clutches. as you depress the clutch you take the pressure off the plates which allows the plates to float around and rattle

Thanks guys, so this sound obviously never goes away. Does it get louder as I use it more or will it always sound the same?

It wont go away and shouldnt get louder. A customer's car has one and damn is it annoying. I assume you are shooting for 600+rwhp with using a clutch like that?

Eventually I want 450-500rwhp. I am still using a twin turbo setup and stock intercooler so i'm not there yet but by the end of this year I want a GT35R single turbo with a nice intercooler.

For those power goals I would probably have went with one of the ACT extreme PP setups, whether it be one of the pucks or discs. I couldnt handle the rattling noise if I was going to drive the car often.
