you can take my name off the list, i'm not interested in a GB from "tim" in atlanta...i havent seen his work. i'll be having mine done by Paulo in CA...

If you'd like, I can have pictures done of some of his stuff. Also, if anybody's in the Atlanta area, they'd love to have some of the guys come in, they like visitors. I'm trying to find the damn number to the shop, cause apparently I've lost it. Don't worry though, I'll find it by monday. I'm sure that 10 will be enough to do this, I'm pretty sure 5 would've been enough. I'll go ahead and list some of the options that will be available, yet I still can't give you prices (I don't have anything to do with pricing, I just know their work).

So you'll have the option of having different textiles woven in. I know there's a blue, red, and I believe a green as well. They also have a silver which is kevlar. Not only will you be able to weave them in with the carbon fiber, I THINK... that you can have them made out of JUST the colored weave. You can also request more than one layer, but seeing as this is a dash kit, there's really no point.

kinda hard to join a list of "interest" for a group buy if you don't know what your buying, how much, and the quality of it.

 

Yeah, i originally thought we were going with Paulo to do the work (Fazzt73). Before anything, i'd like to see pics of this guys work and hopefully prices.

 

So just to be clear in order to get this done we would have to send our parts so he can lay carbon fiber on it right....

 

I put myself on the list, but that doesn't mean I am commited to buy anything until we see what it is and what it costs and the details. No offense but fazzt87 hasn't said much in accordance to the last thread, I PM'd him and no response, 5 days ago. I don't think he is interested in doing it. Beats me. I will wait to see what happens since this is such a hard thing to figure out. Also there is some dude in Jersey that does it and he gave me reasonable quote on very high quality stuff, he actually does it through e-bay. I contacted him personally, he said he could do almost anything, he might even be on here. I never did put an order through to him, at the time I was dumping money into fixing some problems and I had just got the torasport kit. I wish I would have waited.

Alright, lemme lay some stuff out for you guys. I do not work for Tim. I am not getting anything out of this group buy, other than a good price for parts for my car as well. So I have no reason to hype up the quality or whatever of their work, it wouldn't do me any good. I don't want crap parts on my car, so I'm not going to put together a GB for crap parts period. I'm just doing this so we can all get some good looking and quality work done for our cars. I'll have pics up by tomorrow evening at the latest of their work.

 

I think, you should get some pics together with some different pricing and them move this thread to the GB section. No one will just go on good faith that these are cuallity parts, there are to many venders out there that don't care if they **** **** up as long as they get paid for there shitty products. I don't think that you would wanna put crap parts on your car, no one does, but i know that i need more info to go with this buy.

 

I thought this was to gain interest, so he can talk to the shop that can do it. I understood what was happening cause I read the thread. He will post pics of their work and if he knows how many people are interested then he can get a price, we are just waiting.

 

^ Completely right sonix7, this was just to gather interest to see how many people will actually be behind this. I'm not asking anyone to commit to anything, there'd be no way I'd do it if I didn't see pics before buying. I've sent an email to the shop and they should get back to me tomorrow morning.
