Has anyone tried out this clutch? Thinking of getting one, just want to hear what you guys have to say about it.

I got it, just got my turbo from dee. I should know with in a week how it holds. It's sprung so it should reduce the shock to the driveline, and hold plenty of power. Find out soon for sure!

I have the sprung ACT 6puck, HD pressure plate and ACT street flywheel. The first 200 or so miles were pretty harsh, there was no slipping it, it would just grab. Stalled the car out quite a few times ...after that though it started to break in/get better and after 500miles or so it's no harder to drive than my old ACT street/strip clutch setup really. Very happy with it.

I would recommend ACT's Street/Strip for your use. It will fit better for street driving.
Here's a post from Ihor:
I don't recommend any kind of 6 puck for the street. Although they are capable of holding more power, most are a bitch and a half to drive smoothly on the street.
You have to resort to slipping the clutch, which leads to very quick flywheel friction surface wear. I ran the act/racing beat combo and it sucked. Unless you are running 20+ lbs of boost, you don't need a 6 puck. An act street/strip will be plenty. Better yet, an Exedy twin disk would be the best option for the street and track if you can afford it.

Well my plans will be to add the GT40R turbo until I finish up the fabricating on my Custom Twin Turbo setup, but I think for now Ill just go with the SS as Mahjik stated or the ACT extreme which should'nt differ much from the SS.

I'm pretty happy with my sprung 6 puck Spec clutch from a driveability aspect. once you get used to it, it's not too bad.
My only gripe is the very light pedal pressure, every time I drive a customer's car with the ACT s/s setup (I used to run it for over 50k miles) I think 'damn, I love this firm pedal so much more.' I might eventually switch to the Exedy twin disc next time my motor comes out for that reason.

I have had my Spec stage 3 six puck sprung in for about 100 miles. Also got a new ACT street lite flywheel. It sounds like a bomb going off when I engage/ disengage sometimes. Hopefully it breaks in. The feel is light like Rich explained and grabs like a ****. Holds the power very well. G
