Neutral- Smooth Idle, in Gear-Rough Idle

Hey guys another Idle thread, did a search and came across pages of pages of Idle issues but nothing to what i am experiencing. So here we go...... When i start the car in the morning car starts perfectly, doesnt hesitate doesnt choke nothing. Now once the car its operating tempurature the idle sits comfortably a little bit below 1000rpm. Now if i put the car in gear the idle starts bouncing from 200 rpm to 1000 rpm, goes up and down making the car sound like it has a blower or its supercharged. To get out of that rut i sometimes have to turn the fans on to get it out of that bouncy idle, it remedied the problem before and the Idle will jump up to 1000 rpm and sit there. But now when the car is in gear even the fans kicking in the Idle continues to bounce up and down from 200rpm to 1000rpm, the only way out of it is if i throw the car back into neutral!? any suggestions? The car has been off the road close to a year and the tank had been pretty much empty while it sat off the road, do you think that the Tank has accumulated some Dirt and Rust and its made its self through and into the fuel injectors with the Fresh tank of gas i poured in. I thought I mention last summer i ran this additive known as Pass Gurantee fuel addidtive for Smog testing, basically gurantees you to pass aircare by cleaning the fuel injectors and gas tank etc. I poured a 2litre bottle on top of half a tank of gas and wow what an incredible difference with the idle! the car was smooth! could it be that the fuel injectors need cleaning? your guys thought be appreciated!

Punctuation is your friend. Your post is too much of a pita to read that I'm not going to bother.

I do suggest that you try searching for clutch switch and see if the troublshooting info on that matches your symptoms.

First thing I check when it comes to a hunting idle is the clutch switch. Move it in and out with your finger, should have about an inch of travel.

can someone explain the function of the clutch switch? I had an idle problem that proved to be unrelated to the switch, but I have always wondered why the ECU needed to know when the clutch was engaged.

I have no idea why it matters but it seems to be quite important as it can completely screw up idle.

cause when the clutch is engaged the load of the engine is different. so it needs different amounts of air and fuel to keep the programmed idle
