Question In need of street-porting

I have a 93' tt in need of rebuild. can i get one from the internet and have it installed locally. is this recommended or do I have to drag it 500 miles. Im in lubbock texas, How much can i expect to pay for street-ported and apex sealed. and from who???

I also have purchased following upgrades for FD:
apex gt intercooler
apex intake
mazdaspeed radiador
atr mid and catback 3'

You're best off shipping it off to Pettit or Pineapple racing and letting them rebuild it. Then just let the local shop install it for you.

You have a few shops there in TX. But those two are commonly held as the better two for rebuilds. Try www.rx7.com they are in Garland, TX. Not sure where that is in relation to you.

Called them. they want 5600 to rebuild it. Sounds extreme. any other suggestions

no, you have 2 VERY good options in Dallas. One is Rotary Performance (rx7.com), they handle ungodly amounts of RX-7s. I go through them usually to get stuff. The other is marvelspeed, I have been chatting with someone who just got a rebuild, w/ 3mm seals and street port for a good price.
